Seamus McCarthy is a J.D. candidate at the University of Baltimore School of Law. He earned his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and criminology from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2020 and previously attended Anne Arundel Community College, working full-time while completing his degrees.

At the University of Baltimore, Seamus serves as a UB LEADS mentor, an Orientation Director for the Student Bar Association, and is a member of the school’s softball team. During his 1L summer and 2L fall, he worked as a law clerk and focused on personal injury matters, including drafting pleadings and motions, conducting legal research, and supporting case development.

He has lived in Keflavik, Iceland; Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; Naples, Italy; and Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and continues to travel internationally.

Outside of work, Seamus enjoys skiing, sailing, and boating, and has played in the Anne Arundel County Bar Association Co-Ed Softball League since 2016.
