Community Involvement

Souza Roy is very honored to support a variety of charitable organizations devoted to the assistance of those in need.

The Kevin Strong Foundation was developed so that together, we can end brain cancer. Kevin McKay thoroughly loved life, worked relentlessly to provide for his family and always found a way to see the joy in every day despite his illness. He left a legacy here on earth that was so profound the Kevin Strong Foundation was founded and it chose to continue on by leading just as Kevin would have.

The Annapolis Arts Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to all the arts in Annapolis, Maryland and the surrounding neighborhoods. It provides a collective voice and forum to support and offer opportunities to network, collaborate, polish creative skills, and showcase the rich artistic life of the Greater Annapolis area. The Alliance engages in community outreach by supporting resource identification, information dissemination, arts education, and events programming.

The mission of Ellie’s Bus is to spread awareness of mental health issues & suicide prevention to teenagers across Maryland and across the country. As a registered 501(c)(3), Ellie’s Bus is interested in partnering with schools, youth organizations, religious institutions and other groups to help teach young adults about positive mental health awareness.

The Right Weigh…God’s Way is a Christ-centered community encouraging and building one another up. Making stronger women, stronger families, and stronger communities. It aims to bring the love of Christ to women so that they can be Strong. Mentally, Physically & Spiritually!

Fish For A Cure is a fundraising fishing tournament challenge that makes waves in cancer care in our community. It raises funds by hosting an annual tournament on the Chesapeake Bay followed by a Shore Party in Annapolis MD. All funds raised directly benefit the Cancer Survivorship Program at Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center’s Geaton and JoAnn DeCesaris Cancer Institute.

The mission of the Kevin E. Reichardt Foundation is to promote, foster, and further the academic, personal and professional development of young men and women who embody the positive attributes and spirit of Kevin E. Reichardt. Kevin was a leader, a role model, an athlete, a scholar, and a friend.

The Sister States of Maryland, Inc., is a private, not-for-profit corporation. It was established to provide a government to government forum for the promotion of international cooperation and understanding. The program offers countless opportunities to develop partnerships around the world. It was established in 1980 and currently includes 20 relationships in 17 countries.

The Annapolis Light House is a national model for how a community cares for its neighbors experiencing homelessness. It strives to break the cycle of homelessness by providing a place of belonging, life changing programs, and a broad continuum of support to people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
